Dead or Alive: Saloon Live Stream & Statistics
Dead or Alive Saloon Live is an Evolution card game where players win by correctly predicting the first playing card or suit that the dealer reveals. Get it right, and you’ll claim the total multiplier value built up before that card appears.
The gameplay is straightforward but packed with excitement, especially when bonus multipliers stack up in your favor. Styled after NetEnt’s iconic Dead or Alive slot, the game unfolds in a beautifully crafted Western saloon studio that’s both atmospheric and inviting.
At its core, the game uses a combined shoe of 52 playing cards and 52 bonus cards. Players place bets on which playing card will be revealed first. As the dealer turns bonus cards, their multipliers accumulate in the prize pool. The moment the first playing card appears, the round ends. If your chosen card or suit matches, you win the full multiplier total.
In many ways, it’s similar to roulette: you're placing a bet and hoping the result lands exactly where you predicted. But here, the cards take center stage and the potential payouts are even more exciting.
Game Rules
1. The game uses a special 104-card deck made up of:
- All 52 cards from a standard playing deck
- 20 cards with a 20x multiplier
- 19 cards with a 30x multiplier
- 3 cards with a 50x multiplier
- 1 card with a 100x multiplier
- 6 Bounty cards
- 3 Double cards
2. To begin, players place bets on any of the 52 standard playing cards. There is no limit to how many cards a player may bet on.
3. Once betting closes, the dealer begins dealing cards from the shoe until a standard playing card appears.
4. The Potential Win starts at 20.
5. When a Multiplier Card (20x, 30x, 50x, or 100x) is drawn, its value is added to the Potential Win.
6. When a Bounty Card is drawn, the game moves to a bonus screen. The player selects one of three face down cards, each hiding a multiplier. After the selection, all three cards are revealed, and the chosen multiplier is added to the Potential Win.
7. When a Double Card appears, the current Potential Win is doubled. (Note: The Double card applies only to the total at that moment, future additions are not doubled.)
8. When the dealer finally reveals a standard playing card, any bets placed on that specific card win the amount shown in the Potential Win.
9. All wins are paid “for one.”
Analysis
The rules do not specify the full range of possible Bounty card values. The example provided shows multipliers of 10, 50, and 100, but other combinations likely exist. Evolution states that the overall RTP (return to player) for the game is 97.02%. To reach this figure, I estimate the average Bounty multiplier to be approximately 41.2.
Since there is only one winning card in the deck of 52 standard cards, the probability of selecting the correct card is 1 in 52. When a win does occur, the average payout is 49.48 for 1.
Based on reasonable assumptions about Bounty outcomes, the estimated standard deviation for the game is 9.71.
