Betting Phase
At the start of each round, you can place your chips on the main bet, the side bet, or both. You may also choose to participate only in the side bet without placing a main bet.
Main Game Round
Once betting time ends, both you and the dealer receive one face-up card. The player with the higher ranking card wins the round.
‘Tie’ Outcome
If both you and the dealer draw cards of the same rank, the result is a ‘Tie’. You must then decide whether to ‘Surrender’ or ‘Go To War’. If the decision timer expires and no option is chosen, you will automatically ‘Surrender’.
‘Surrender’
Choosing to ‘Surrender’ means forfeiting half of your main bet. The round ends for you (though it may continue for other players). This option is ideal if you believe your chances of drawing a higher card than the dealer’s are low or uncertain.
‘Go To War’
If you prefer higher risk and reward, you can choose to ‘Go To War’. This requires you to double your main bet and continue the round.
The dealer will then burn (discard) three cards face-down before dealing each of you one additional face-up card.
- If your new card outranks the dealer’s, you win, your doubled bet pays out, and your original bet is returned (a push).
- If the dealer’s card wins, you lose the round.
If another ‘Tie’ occurs during the ‘War’, the same process repeats until a winner is determined up to a maximum of four consecutive ‘Ties’ per round. During consecutive ties, your doubled bet remains in play, and no additional wagers may be placed.
You can choose to ‘Go To War’ only once on your first tie. If subsequent ties occur, you will automatically continue to ‘Go To War’ with your existing doubled bet.
